Visitor attractions: Merlin Entertainments to open 11th Madame Tussauds in Blackpool

Final planning applications went in today showing the sensational fascias of the exciting new Madame Tussauds, Blackpool – scheduled to open next April and take the North West by storm..

The ultimate celebrity attraction, Madame Tussauds has a global reputation for creating high quality and amazingly lifelike wax figures – unlike any others; and for developing unique attractions which reflect the interests and people, special to their location.    Madame Tussauds Blackpool is a perfect example of this.   The eleventh Madame Tussauds to open around the world it is an exciting multi-million pound attraction which embodies the fun, quirkiness, and unique and very positive British qualities of Blackpool.  Madame Tussauds Blackpool will depict the nation’s heroes from the world of television, film and sport and plays host to dozens of “new” celebrity faces as iconic as Blackpool itself, and all very familiar to visitors to the town.    More than that they appear in fun, interactive sets many of which also encourage visitors to ‘take part’ in the action themselves!
