Immotion Group, specialists in the immersive virtual reality (VR) ‘Out of Home’ entertainment sector, has appointed Kyle Villella as North American sales director.
The company aims to become a leading player in the out-of-home VR experience market, by creating and publishing high quality VR content and combining it with its VR motion platforms to create innovative immersive experiences.
Villella has previously served as VP of Distribution for Fathom Events and Director of Sales for nWave Pictures, as well roles with Lionsgate Films, Paramount Pictures, LD Entertainment and consulting for Universal Studios Hollywood.
In his new position with Immotion Group he will be leading the company’s expansion in North America.
Commenting on the announcement, Rod Findley, Group Commercial Director of Immotion Group, said, “We’re really happy to have Kyle lead the charge in the North American market. It’s important to have someone with deep experience across verticals as we expand our location-based VR offering across a wide range of venues in the US and Canada.”

Immotion Group recently raised £5.75 million through a flotation on London Stock Exchange’s junior market, AIM.
The company announced a partnerships with Merlin Entertainments for a new VR experience at LEGOLAND Discovery Center, Boston and Genting Resorts World in Birmingham for Vortex Arena.
