Kia will also become the cricket board’s official car partner, which will provide further opportunities to engage with fans.
Throwmotion engage fans with CricketLive!
For the second year, Kia will partner with ThrowMotion to engage fans with their Cricket Live! game. ThrowMotion reconfigured the software and tablets to align with Kia’s 2018 Stinger campaign.
CricketLive! is fast, fun and also hugely addictive. The digitally-connected table-top cricket game is scoring a huge hit amongst cricket fans all over the world. Now Kia has introduced the excitement of the game to many of its Kia Super League (KSL) games as well as Surrey home matches in the Vitality T20 Blast.
CricketLive! is a ground-breaking three-dimensional rendition of cricket. A batsman with a multi-axis control gets to face a bowler who can either bowl fast (at scaled speeds of 100 mph) or spin the ball.
Real-time audio and visual updates are provided via live commentary and in addition a scoreboard is displayed on an integrated video screen throughout the game. Fans battle to top the leader board in a one over Slugfest Tournament. CricketLive! therefore combines attributes from the physical world (live action, table-top) with the digital world (connectivity and recording of data) in a unique way.
ThrowMotion is based in Sunnyvale, California. The company produces next generation table games. The company’s flagship product CricketLive! is the world’s first live action cricket table game.
