Zamperla, a leading ride manufacturer, has announced it will be hosting a monthly Funweek, designed to highlight fun and creativity, as well as special projects and new products. Over the last year, the company has been exploring new technologies and ideas and is looking forward to seeing people returning to parks and sharing memorable experiences.
In a statement about the new initiative, the company says: “Celebrations at Zamperla have always been on the agenda. We are a big community of people who enjoy working together with the focus. of creating Fun, and to experience it as much as we can while designing it.
“Halfway through each month, Funweek will not only be full of surprises and special projects; but will become a regular event designed to discover a brand-new product through the end of 2021. We present the Funweek as a digital parade: an ode to fun, with its own recognizable visual identity, colourful and bright.”

Funweek will be a chance for the rest of the industry to discover what Zamperla has been working on behind the scenes, a get a preview of its new rides and products.
“Thanks to the collaboration of our engineers and creatives, we will be able to illustrate and explain the new attractions through a unique journey into the world of design, research, and imagination that lies behind the creation of each Zamperla attraction,” says the company.
To kick things off, Zamperla announced its ChronoZ in February. This is a versatile and compact tweener ride, that can be enjoyed by the whole family and is suitable for either indoor or outdoor venues. Next, the company will also be presenting Gryphon as part of Funweek. This single rider experience blends elements of classic favourites with new thrills.
