The technology firm is teaming up with access control specialists for new service features

Connect&GO, a leader in guest experience engineering and wearable RFID technology for events and attractions, has today announced a new relationship with Alvarado, part of the dormakaba Group.

The partnership means Connect&GO will be working directly with the US’s leading manufacturer of entry control solutions, providing operators with an expanded range of state-of-the-art and sophisticated access control options.

Access to new features

Alvarado has provided solutions for protecting assets and people flow for almost sixty years. Amongst its products are intelligent optical “fast lanes” and barrier-free pedestals, as well as traditional waist-high tripod turnstiles and wall-mounted units that restrict entry to privileged areas.

The direct integration between Connect&GO will deliver a direct integration of its all-in-one operations management platform, Konnect, with Alvarado’s range of entry hardware solutions. This will apply to both the firm’s traditional and contactless solutions, allowing operators to offer safe, frictionless access to guests whilst receiving valuable real-time data insights.

Operators will now be able to view accurate and up-to-date data on attendance and traffic directly through the Konnect platform. The data will be presented clearly to aid any swift operational decisions required for keeping guests safer and driving revenue.

“World-class products”

Konnect is a flexible attractions management platform and all-in-one platform designed to seamlessly cover key areas of venue operations. The service seamlessly integrates e-Commerce, POS, food & beverage and RFID access control, as well as cashless payments linked to a Virtual Wallet.

With many services through one system, customer data is retained each time a visitor scans, helping operators learn more about guest preferences and behaviour, providing key insights for marketing, operations and experience teams.

Connect&GO CEO Dominic Gagnon comments on the new partnership: “We value working with top-tier solutions to deliver the best for our customers. Alvarado is a trusted leader in secure park entry, and we are thrilled to bring their world-class products into our Konnect ecosystem to deliver a unified and powerful system for access control.”

Last week, Connect&GO announced a number of strategic hires who will work with the company’s increasing list of leisure industry clients.
