Valo Motion, a pioneer in combining interactive technology with physical activities, has launched a new gaming product for the first time in North America.
Helping to create a communal, enjoyable, and healthy experience for American entertainment venues, Valo Motion has introduced its 6-person mixed reality game system to new sites in the US.
The new unsupervised experiences may be found at Air Madness trampoline park in South Dakota and RPM Raceway in New Jersey, following the deployment of ten units globally.
Over a thousand of Valo Motion’s current products, the ValoClimb and ValoJump mixed reality gaming systems, which transform trampolines and climbing walls into interactive, social gaming experiences, have also been distributed internationally. The effectiveness of Valo Motion products has been demonstrated in a variety of leisure facilities, including resorts, trampoline parks, and activity parks.
“People simply cannot believe it when they suddenly see themselves in a ValoArena game. They immediately start smiling and are amazed by what is possible with technology these days.” Says CEO of German Abenteuerland FEC Steffen Brunckhorst. “And it’s not just first-time players. We have some regular visitors who arrive and immediately run through the park to Valo Motion products, to be the first to play.” he continues.
Presently, family entertainment centres in more than 30 American states benefit from Valo Motion technologies. This November saw the installation of the first ValoArena attractions in the US, and by the end of the year, further units will be shipped from domestic warehouses for installation and sold to interested operators on a “first come, first served” basis following Orlando’s IAAPA Expo.
There are no cables, wearables, or employee supervision needed for the engaging and physical gameplay of ValoArena. Teams can select from a variety of games to compete in a setting that is both real and virtual, with a stage resembling an arena where onlookers can watch and cheer.
This aspect makes it simple to use for both guests and operators, creating a unique mixed reality social attraction for venues, with some operators declaring usage rates as high as 86%.
Dr Raine Kajastila, Valo Motion CEO adds: “We are excited to launch ValoArena in the US as a fresh alternative to passive play in out-of-home amusement locations. ValoArena is much more than just a revolutionary concept, it’s an evolutionary step forward. We have taken the best from our ValoClimb and ValoJump attractions and built a truly social group gaming experience, where active fun and laughs can be shared with groups and families.”
Earlier this year, Valo Motion unveiled the Jump Theatre experience for ValoJump, a new tech-infused activity that values fun and enjoyment over straightforward competitiveness.
