Triotech, an award-winning creator of media-based attractions, has unveiled its latest simulator product at IAAPA Expo, being held in Orlando this week.
The firm’s new QUBE simulator, a premium interactive multiplayer coin-op game, was shared with industry members at Orange County Convention Center in Florida, US. The attendant free four-player simulator brings high immersion and competition to Family Entertainment Centres (FECs), whilst utilising a small footprint.
“QUBE was born from the idea of disrupting the deluxe coin-op video game world by combining the robustness and reliability expected from a coin-operated product with an unparalleled sense of immersion”, says Triotech CEO & founder Ernest Yale.
“Key to QUBE’s success is the fact that we worked closely with customers and distributors during the development and testing phase. The product was designed through close collaboration with distributors and operators of FECs and arcades. This helped balance excellent gameplay, look, and appeal with other important operator benefits such as durability and ease of maintenance.”
Packed with features
The QUBE features a 100-inch 4k projected display, four motion chairs, wind, blasters, a 5.1 surround sound system, and a full library of Unreal game engine material.
The new product is the result of Triotech’s aim to create a new game that is affordable to any amusement arcade or FEC, inspired by its award-winning XD Dark Ride interactive theatre.
Triotech has committed to creating a full library of content over the next few years, as it has done with its other long-running top earners, such as the Typhoon coin-op video game and the Storm interactive coin-op VR simulator.
Attendees at IAAPA Expo can meet the Triotech team this week in Orlando to try this new product on the show floor’s Booth #5818.
Triotech has also unveiled its new walkthrough attraction for LOTTE WORLD, BATTLEGROUNDS WORLD AGENT, at IAAPA Expo this week.
