project: syntropy, creator of technology and display solutions for dome cinemas and immersive attractions, has refreshed its dome attraction offering with new variants.
The firm, which has vast experience in the sector, is a recognised provider of media-based attractions for amusement parks around the world, as well as providing dome projection systems for training and simulation venues including the Airbus H145 Level D full-flight simulator.
project: syntropy merges interactive concepts with immersive technologies for the creation, visualisation and representation of digital virtual content in interactive learning, information and entertainment environments.
Immersive dome attractions
project: syntropy has announced that its repertoire of dome installations has expanded, with five types of dome installations matching a range of budgets and specifications for operators looking to enhance their family entertainment offerings.
A dome attraction with an 8K brilliant 2D or 3D display, the Immersive Dome completely transforms the environment in an instant. Visitors stand on a static floor while the projection extends to the floor and special effects including fire, water, and wind can be included.
The Ultimate3D Dome is an attraction which utilises up to 8K 3D projection. Visitors are seated in fixed positions, with both the space and the seats utilising special effects.
Also utilising 8K 3D projection, the key differentiator of the Ultimate4D Dome is its 3DOF dynamic seats. A variety of special effects, including wind, snow, water, bubbles, CO2 blasts, real fire, and light effects, are present in the space and on each seat.
The 3DOF Action Rider Dome attraction offers up to 8K projection in 2D and utilises a dynamic standing platform with special effects both in the space and on the platform.
Offering up to 8K projection in both 2D and 3D, the 6DOF Action Rider Dome utilises a 6DOF dynamic seating platform. Special effects can be installed both in the space and on the platform itself.
Creating thrilling experiences
To ensure the highest standards of safety and quality, all of these dynamic platforms and seats supplied by project: syntropy have TÜV approval and are manufactured in Germany.
“project: syntropy has more than 20 years designing and installing dome attractions,” says Asia & Middle East sales director for entertainment, Giulia Barbero.
“With our new dome product range, our dome attractions have become even more immersive and more dynamic. Thanks to our partnership with Entertainment Resource, we can now include the Action Rider in our domes: it is a super dynamic 6DOF platform with 18 to 27 seats that has the ability to create thrilling experiences.”
Earlier this year project: syntropy establishes a new European workshop facility near the company’s commercial office in Magdeburg, Germany.
