Venues have more flexibility, providing increased revenue and data opportunities

Ticket Tailor, a leading white-labelled, self-serve ticketing platform, has invested further in its product offering for the tours and attractions sector with the announcement of the firm’s all-new memberships and season pass feature.

The feature is ideal for attractions looking to incorporate a loyalty strategy to generate ticketing revenue from their biggest fans. As seen in Ticket Tailor’s ticketing trends for the year, this is an important tool that attractions can utilise to help offset current industry challenges.

Comprehensive season pass functionality

The new feature will provide attractions with expansive customisation and dynamic rule options, for example:

  • Attractions will have complete control over start and end dates, making it easy to support sales for sports or music seasons which take place between two fixed dates, a pass that’s valid for one year from purchase or a punch card-style loyalty card with limited redemptions before expiry
  • The option to choose between limited or unlimited redemptions and the ability to sell directly to customers or add members manually, e.g. when transferring from a pre-existing membership plan
  • Deliver exclusive discounts for members, or member-only tickets – by utilising a membership code
  • Scan and redeem membership codes with a check-in app, saving members from the inconvenience of advanced ticket ordering
  • Add necessary conditions and benefits for staff to see on the day e.g. “10% off at the restaurant” or “Members benefit from priority access”
  • Directly email members with event updates in a few simple clicks

A valuable tool

By mid-February, all users will be able to utilise the tool, which is currently being tested by a small number of attractions. Pure Land Farm is one of the first users, with the attraction’s Megan Neubauer sharing her excitement to start offering memberships:

“We are super excited about the new season pass feature from Ticket Tailor. It will allow us to manage season pass holders easily, meaning we can send emails and export their information as needed.

“We are also looking forward to the valuable data we will get on how often the season pass holders visit the farm, so we can figure out how many we can sell without compromising the farm experience. Very excited to put it to use and many thanks to Ticket Tailor for working with us to create this feature.”

Product Director Tom Clarke adds: “It has never been more crucial to cultivate and reward your most loyal customers – particularly during a cost of living crisis.

“Season passes and more sophisticated types of membership are an easy, affordable way to ensure you’re top-of-mind for your regular fans and locals, giving them the kind of premium experience that will guarantee they keep coming back, spending more, and spreading the word about your events.”

“In fact, we believe it is so important that we will be offering this powerful new feature to all of our event organiser community at the same rate as standard ticket sales – so no upgrades required.”

As a leading alternative to Eventbrite, Ticket Tailor recently announced its intention to gain further traction in the tours and attractions ticketing market, with top destinations around the world.
