Smart Monkeys, Inc. confirms new appointments and executive reorganisation

Smart Monkeys, Inc., the show control specialist, has announced the appointment of David Rouchet as the company’s new director of product development. Rouchet will be responsible for the continued growth and development of the ISAAC platform by leading Smart Monkeys, Inc’s product development team and overseeing its technology partnerships to expand ISAAC’s ecosystem and markets.

Rouchet has more than three decades of experience in designing control software programmes and systems when he joins Smart Monkeys, Inc. His most recent position was as head of the R&D program for Barco weConnect, a subscription-based software programme for instruction, training, and learning.

Bringing new expertise

In addition, Rouchet previously served as Barco’s Overture R&D director for A/V control & show control. Before this, he also oversaw the design and advancement of Medialon Manager, one of the world’s leading AV control solutions, during his 22 years as technical director and head of development at Medialon.

“I am very excited to be joining Smart Monkeys and more specifically the ISAAC Platform product team,” says Rouchet.

Focusing on talent

As Smart Monkeys, Inc. looks to celebrate 15 years of business, the company has also announced an executive reorganisation with co-founder Villet as CEO, fellow co-founder Alan Anderson as COO, and associate partner Mitch Schuh being promoted to chief technology officer.

Anderson adds: “The new executive team will allow us to achieve a better balance in our administration, operations and technology management. Renewing our commitment to quality and reliability for our clients and partners. Focusing on team and talent enables Smart Monkeys to design, develop and implement systems and solutions for the most demanding projects.”

Smart Monkeys, Inc. recently worked with partners including Realmotion to deliver a state-of-the-art multi-user interactive tech solution for Moment Vault at Orlando Airport.
