Visitors will explore mind-bending holograms, stereograms, optical illusions and immersive rooms.

The Museum of Illusions is opening its latest venue at Mall of America on 5 May, offering more than 60 exhibits across 6,300 square feet of space.

Visitors will learn about vision, perception and the human brain as they explore mind-bending holograms, stereograms, optical illusions and immersive rooms.

Guides will be available throughout the museum to explain the illusions and assist with photo opportunities.

“Our museum offers a unique and unforgettable experience, meant to entertain and educate,” said Barbara Blackwell, Museum of Illusions‘ VP of marketing and sales.

“We’re so thrilled to bring our Museum of Illusions to Mall of America, continuing our US expansion in one of the most recognizable venues in the country.

“Whether you’re visiting with your family, on a school field trip, or just curious about the wonders of the mind, we’re here to provide a unique and unforgettable experience.

“We can’t wait to show you the magic of illusions!”

Museum of Illusions is the largest brand of private museums in the world, with 42 locations in 25 countries across four continents.

North America’s largest retailtainment complex

Opened in 1992 in Bloomington, Minnesota, Mall of America is the largest shopping and entertainment complex in North America.

Its attractions include the seven-acre Nickelodeon Universe theme park, a Sea Life aquarium, the FlyOver America ride, and the Crayola Experience.

Mall of America is owned and operated by Triple Five Group, as is West Edmonton Mall in Canada and American Dream in New Jersey.

Last year, Galaxyland at West Edmonton Mall launched as a Hasbro-themed amusement park with attractions inspired by Play-Doh, Monopoly and My Little Pony.
