Firm announced the new tech during trade show in Orlando

Barco, the technology company focusing on innovative visualisation solutions, is exhibiting at InfoComm this week in Orlando, Florida, where the team has launched a new G50 laser smart line projector.

The firm made an announcement earlier this year when sales of its single-chip G-series laser projectors passed the symbolic threshold of 10,000 units. Three new G50 projectors will be introduced at InfoComm, marking a new milestone for the projector manufacturer and its G-series lineup, which now includes ten projectors with lumen outputs ranging from 6 to 22K.

Lightweight and sustainable

The G50’s compactness and light weight are among its standout features. The G50 is now the smallest projector on the market for the entire industry, weighing between 11 and 13 kg. The G50 projector performs better than other projectors of comparable size on the market, providing the maximum light efficiency to display high-quality content in all its splendour.

The G50 projectors also address the rising significance of sustainability. The G50 provides the best value in terms of lumens per watt available because of its industry-leading energy efficiency of up to 18 Lm/W. Additionally, the G50 is an eco-friendly choice thanks to its long-lasting laser light source.

Users of the G50 can enjoy amazing visual experiences without breaking the bank due to its competitive price point, robust performance, and environmental friendliness.

“The Barco G-series bring uncompromised laser projection with premium value at a very competitive pricing,” says Domien De Witte, vice president of product IX at Barco. “With the introduction of our new G50 models, we want to reaffirm our commitment to pushing the boundaries of our projection portfolio into new markets, bringing best-seller solutions for every budget.”

With unmatched size, weight, energy efficiency, and compatibility with rental peripherals, this projector promises to deliver quality visual experiences in a variety of applications, including boardrooms, museums, corporate events, and even entry-level simulation. It also promises to deliver superior image quality.

For more information about the G50 and Barco’s complete range of projection solutions, InfoComm attendees can visit the team at booth #2529 throughout the show.

Earlier this month, Barco announced that it has provided 30 of its newest laser projectors for a ground-breaking installation at Vivid Sydney in Australia.
