Semnox brings cashless F&B solutions to Modesh World 2023

News
Modesh World 2023

Semnox Solutions, a provider of technology for the entertainment and amusement industry, provided its cashless F&B solutions to this year’s Modesh World, reinforcing the UAE’s dedication to a greener future.

An iconic indoor attraction, Modesh World is held yearly in the Dubai World Trade Centre and draws in millions of people with its rides, attractions, skill games, and arcades. Semnox’s cutting-edge F&B solutions were solely used by the event’s more than 20 food counters this year, enhancing the event experience for both exhibitors and guests.

“We focus on adopting technology-based solutions to enhance the user experience in Modesh World,” says Khalid Al-Hammadi, vice president at Dubai World Trade Center.

“Semnox has been able to deliver and match our requirements as always. We have extended the cashless operations to Food courts this year and have seen improvement in the visitor’s experience. The operations have been smooth, and we have seen the benefits on the ground.”

Encouraging sustainability

Sustainable practices were used throughout the venue thanks to Semnox’s collaboration with Modesh World. The introduction of cashless transactions using RFID cards and readers from Semnox was one of the main sustainable aspects.

By allowing customers to pay for food, beverages, and mementoes without using cash, this programme supported the Dubai Digital programme and dramatically decreased paper and plastic waste. Throughout the event, attendees were further urged to reuse the RFID cards as membership cards.

“Modesh World is a very well-known event in the region, and it’s been a great pleasure working with the team for the past few years,” says Ashish KS, business head at Semnox Solutions.

“We have had great feedback from the operations team as well as the vendors and guests. Building on the success, this year we have extended the cashless operations from rides and attractions to F&B as well with handheld devices. This is also a testament to how Semnox has been able to cater to the demands of the events market. We hope to continue to expand this successful technology partnership with the Dubai WTC”

A free-to-enter indoor “edutainment” destination, Modesh World will be open until August 28. It offers a variety of themed games, learning zones, and entertaining activities for children of all ages. In the years to come, Semnox Solutions will continue working with Modesh World to develop modern, eco-friendly, and immersive experiences that captivate audiences and usher in a better future for all.

Last week, Semnox Solutions also announced that it is working with Glitch, Dubai. The firm is providing cashless solutions to the family entertainment centre.
