Waterbom Bali has opened its new Oasis Gardens expansion, a 1.3-hectare landscaped area with new slides, lagoon pools and relaxation zones.
Oasis Gardens features four waterslide attractions accessed via a 20-metre winding slide tower with a cantilevered viewing platform.
The Drop is a thrilling tube ride that starts from a height of 17 metres and ends with an eight-metre drop. The Tailspin sends riders in a downward spiral slide to an open bowl, before propelling them into another open bowl.
The water park‘s Boomerang slide has been updated for the new area, with riders shooting through a rainbow tube into a 9.2-metre vertical drop.

In addition to the new slides, Oasis Gardens includes a lagoon-style pool and tropical relaxation area with sun beds and gazebos, an outdoor spa and massage area with a sunken pool bar, and the Oasis CafƩ.
“Our goal is to continuously enhance our guestās experience within the park and innovate with environmentally sustainable developments, ensuring that Waterbom remains a must-visit destination in Bali, with a minimal ecological footprint,” said Waterbom Bali CEO Sayan Gulino.
Oasis Gardens was created using sustainable methods, including underground pumps and pipes, solar panels and a rainwater harvesting system. Like the rest of the park, it was designed around the existing trees so that none were cut down.
More than 1,000 tropical plants were selected by Gulino and the team from Kediri in East Java and transported to Oasis Gardens to increase biodiversity.
New family area coming to Waterbom Bali
Gulino said the expansion is the first phase of “several new updates to the park, which will excite guests and allow us to offer more variety and enjoyment to visitors”. Waterbom Bali plans to open a new family-friendly area in 2024.
One of the first water parks in Indonesia, Waterbom Bali now contains 26 waterslides and five dining outlets across 5.1 hectares of tropical gardens. Waterbom Baliās slides are from WhiteWater, a leading water park manufacturer.
Waterbom Bali was recently voted the top water park in Asia in the Tripadvisor Travelersā Choice Awards 2023.
