In 2022, website specialist Rubber Cheese released its first report that set a benchmark specifically for visitor attraction websites. It offered insightful information about user experience, booking journeys, and mobile experience, setting them apart from other travel and tourism statistics.
188 visitor attractions participated in the 2023 poll, a three-fold rise from the first survey, demonstrating without a doubt the importance of this research for the sector.
Defining benchmarks
The 2023 report, sponsored by Convious, a leading eCommerce platform for the leisure industry, builds on these themes. It will highlight the vital connection between visitor experience, conversion rates, and website optimisation. The outcomes will define the important conversion rate and basket abandonment benchmarks as well as provide ideas for improving the user experience on visitor attraction websites.
