MSC Cruises has unveiled its new cruise ship, MSC World America, which boasts seven districts, a water park, and an 11-deck dry slide.
When it sets sail next year, MSC World America will include seven areas, each offering its own atmosphere and experiences. They are as follows:
MSC Yacht Club – this private and secluded district offers personalised experiences, such as 24/7 butler service, priority embarkation and disembarkation, and an exclusive lounge and dining areas.
Family Aventura – this family-friendly area is located on the ship’s top deck and is centred around The Harbor, a new outdoor water park with a state-of-the-art attraction. This zone also includes the Doremiland area for kids, as well as bumper cars, a roller rink and waterslides.
Aqua Deck – in this district, the ship’s two main pools are surrounded by a versatile pool deck.
Zen Area – this adult-only zone is a space for relaxation and rejuvenation with ocean views.
Galleria – this district at the heart of the ship will provide dining and retail outlets, live music, and the MSC Luna Park Arena – a high-tech entertainment venue.
The Terraces – in this district, guests will find nine restaurants and bars, four shops, and a comedy club.
Promenade – this area is home to an 11-deck dry slide, as well as a F&B options.
Energy-efficient cruise ship
In total, MSC World America spans 22 decks, with 2,614 staterooms and more than 420,000 square feet of public space. The new ship houses 13 restaurants, 20 bars and lounges, six pools, 14 hot tubs, and three entertainment venues.
Per a press release, MSC World America will be one of the most energy-efficient cruise ships in the world. The company aims to achieve net zero emissions for its marine operations by 2050.
MSC Cruises is one of world’s largest cruise lines. Its fleet consists of 22 modern ships, with three new vessels to launch in 2025, 2026 and 2027.
From April 2025, MSC World America will sail from Miami to various destinations in the Caribbean.
