Embed, a leading worldwide supplier of point-of-sale and revenue management systems, has announced that it will exhibit at the Saudi Entertainment & Amusement (SEA) Expo, which will take place from 7 to 9 May 2024 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Tourism is a rapidly growing market in the Kingdom, and the FEC sector is expected to grow at a CAGR of 12.4% between 2022 and 2028. “These are truly exciting times in the MENA region, especially in KSA,” says Renee Welsh, CEO at Embed. “Under His Royal Highness’ Vision 2023, building KSA’s Quality of Life Program through vibrant experiences in tourism, hospitality, and family entertainment puts us in a strategic position to help realise the goal through our cashless solutions.
“This is why we will be fronting our Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions at the SEA Expo,” adds Saeed Abdillahi, EMEA regional sales manager at Embed. “Our award-winning Mobile Wallet virtual game card and STATS business intelligence dashboard are designed as a response to the growing consumer demand for safer and faster transactions; likewise, for operators seeking higher profitability from reloads and return visits, and more business visibility through data.
“This way, guests can get more out of their time spent in FECs and do what they came there to do – play and have fun – and our operators can take a step back and enjoy transformational business growth.”
Mobile Wallet results
60% of reloads occur before guests arrive at the FEC, according to Embed’s Mobile Wallet 2022–2023 metric data, which indicates a staggering 5x rise in average reload value ($50.57) compared to cash ($9.90) and credit card ($31.95). Majid Al Futtaim’s Magic Planet won the 2023 MENALAC Awards for Most Innovative Application of Technology thanks to the help of the Mobile Wallet last year.
With STATS, the business intelligence dashboard powered by Amazon Web Services, operators have real-time insight into their FEC data, including game performance, revenue projection based on historical data, inventory, and even personnel allocation.
The smarter, quicker, and supercharged smartTOUCH, with its 512 MB DDR3 RAM, 528 Mhz processing power, 4 GB storage, super signal at 23 dBm, and data transfer at 2.4 and 5 GHz, is one of Embed’s latest developments that will be on display at the SEA Expo.
The MENA region’s FECs sometimes deal with old technology, commitment issues, network outages, system integrations, stability challenges, and outdated technology. As such, the dependability of solutions providers is a key component of providing a better guest experience and future-proofing enterprises.
“Embed’s system architecture is built to work even during network outages,” says Andy Welsh, CTO at Embed. “At a time when system reliability is a hot topic in the industry, we are in a strategic position to respond to the industry’s need for reliable tech partners they can trust; we’re a solutions provider that partners with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for their data centres and tech development. that’s why we’re confident that the Embed family of FECs is in good hands.”
The Embed team will be at booth #3C-321.
The firm also recently presented its SaaS solutions and other groundbreaking technologies at the Amusement Expo International (AEI), where it was recognised with two awards.
