Most of Airbnb’s Icons are free or priced at under $100 per guest

Airbnb has launched a new category called ‘Icons’, a series of immersive experiences including a stay in the Ferrari Museum and the house from Disney and Pixar’s 2009 film Up.

Most of Airbnb’s Icons are free or priced at under $100 per guest. Guests can request to book through the app, and winners will receive a digital golden ticket.

Icons take you inside worlds that only existed in your imagination – until now,” said Brian Chesky, Airbnb co-founder and CEO.

“As life becomes increasingly digital, we’re focused on bringing more magic into the real world. With Icons, we’ve created the most extraordinary experiences on Earth.”

Airbnb‘s first 11 Icons are as follows:

Step inside a floating recreation of Carl’s house from Up, complete with more than 8,000 balloons and located in Abiquiu, New Mexico.

Spend the night in the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, Italy. Guests will sleep on a bed made from the same leather as Ferrari seats.

Live like the X-Men in a 2D animated recreation of the X-Mansion from X-Men ’97 in Westchester, New York.

Join actor and comedian Kevin Hart inside his Caramino Live Lounge for an evening of tequila tasting and stand-up comedy.
