Lamberink Ferris Wheels, a leading specialist in the manufacturing, renting, and refurbishing of Ferris wheels, has shared details of its successful presence at the IAAPA Latin America Summit as the company expands into the region.
The event took place from 24 to 26 March in Mexico City, Mexico. Lamberink Ferris Wheels was represented by Sebastiaan Lamberink and Wim Trok, who presented the company’s premium attractions and connected with potential clients from across the LATAM region.
Lamberink says: “It was inspiring to experience the energy and vision of Latin American operators. There is clearly a demand for high-quality, durable observation wheels that can elevate guest experiences and become iconic landmarks.”
Regional expansion
Lamberink Ferris Wheels showcased its most popular models at the event, such as the RL33, RL46, and RL22. These model numbers refer to the approximate height of the Ferris Wheel in metres. The RL33 is notably versatile and can be supplied with open or closed gondolas as required.
In addition, the company presented the ST54 Swing Tower, which is ideal for urban parks and seasonal events as it provides high thrills on a small footprint.
In-depth conversations and smooth negotiations took place throughout the event, supported by Trok, who speaks fluent Spanish. The summit resulted in numerous detailed proposals for prospective clients in Mexico, Chile, and other parts of Latin America.
This interest underlines Lamberink Ferris Wheels’ strategic focus on emerging markets, with an emphasis on Latin America, where there is growing demand for safe, aesthetically pleasing and well-known attractions. The company is optimistic about its ongoing growth in the region in the coming years.
Lamberink Ferris Wheels recently partnered with Street Machine to bring the first large Ferris wheel in Chile to the coastal city of Viña del Mar. A standard RL33 with open gondolas has been installed as a permanent coastal attraction and has become established as a popular landmark.
