accesso Technology Group PLC, a leading technology provider for attractions worldwide, has announced an expansion of its partnership with PayPal to provide more trusted, adaptable, and guest-friendly payment options. This advanced integration enhances accesso’s initial PayPal Checkout support and offers a much more robust, flexible, and conversion-focused payment experience for venues globally.

Since accesso first integrated PayPal’s digital payments into its solutions, clients have benefited from a checkout process that is quick, secure, and conversion-optimised. The updated system offers a full range of features, enabling guests to complete transactions via Venmo, Pay Later, PayPal Credit, Pay in 3 (UK), and card payments —all within a smooth, mobile-friendly checkout interface.

“Consumer expectations are evolving rapidly, and it’s vital we empower our clients with the trusted, flexible payment options guests expect,” says Michael Wiggins, senior director of global services at accesso.

“This expanded collaboration with PayPal broadens our wallet offering to provide an even stronger commerce platform built for growth. It’s about giving guests more ways to pay — and giving our clients more ways to convert.”

Speed, flexibility and choice at checkout

accesso clients can now use accessoPay 3.0 to access a range of PayPal integrations. This includes PayPal Checkout, which offers an uninterrupted on-site checkout experience backed by trusted security measures. Venmo, a mobile-first payment method popular among Millennial and Gen Z guests, is also available.

Guests can choose flexible financing options, including Pay Later and PayPal Credit, giving them more control over their payment methods. For those who prefer not to use a PayPal account, the Guest Checkout feature allows buyers to complete their purchase using a debit or credit card. Additionally, in the United Kingdom, eligible guests can take advantage of Pay in 3, an interest-free instalment payment option.

This collaboration is enabling venues worldwide to meet the growing demand for speed, flexibility, and choice at checkout.

PayPal will serve as a Gold Sponsor at the upcoming accesso Client Conference 2025 in Orlando, Florida, providing attendees with the opportunity to learn more about their services.

accesso also recently announced that it has renewed its longstanding collaboration with Six Flags Entertainment Corporation. The companies have entered into a new five-year agreement for the ongoing use of the accesso Passport eCommerce ticketing platform throughout Six Flags’ theme and water park portfolio in North America.
