Simworx Stargazer 4D Motion Theatre Opens at Danfoss Universe Science Theme Park, DenmarkThe movie itself is played through a Panasonic digital circular polarising 3D projection system to produce a visual masterpiece.  However, there is far more to the Stargazer motion theatre than a movie; with  5.1 surround sound, special effects lighting, smoke machines, on-board wind effects, bubbles and water spray, the viewier is fully immersed within the theme.

In order that the audience may fully appreciate the experience, the specially chosen educational movie,   Journey through the Body, allows guests to experience a tour through different parts within the human body, whilst taking full advantage of the theatre’s special effects.  Simworx latest state-of-the-art 4D motion theatre has 28 seats in four, seven seater pods with each one including its own six DOF dynamic hydraulic motion base.

”We were delighted to win the contract to supply Danfoss Universe with one of our Stargazer motion theatres, ” said Simworx Managing Director Terry Monkton.

He continued: “It is a fascinating place to visit for all ages and I believe the theatre adds another exciting and fun element to the overall offering, as well as providing an additional educational element with the chosen film. It’s been a pleasure to work with the Danfoss Universe team and I’m sure the theatre will prove to be a popular attraction with all who visit.”

This form of edutainment will allow children and adults alike to fully immerse themselves in a universe of science and knowledge, throughout a multitude of buildings, while having great fun at the same time.

Danfoss, who specialise in the growth, manufacture and sales of electronic and mechanical components for numerous industries are one of the worldwide leaders in their field.

Also commenting on the new installation, Danfoss Universe’s Head of IT and Projects Jakob Kragelund, said: “When we first decided to invest in a 3D theatre we knew that we wanted something more immersive than other parks in Denmark. We found that the Stargazer was just that – the movement is remarkable and the sheer sight of our four pods leaves guest in awe.”

“Finding the right vendor is not just about product, ” he continued, “it’s also about trust and about faith and we have not been disappointed with Simworx. Throughout the process we have been met with a professional attitude and dedication even though we are quite a small park. We have never doubted that Simworx sincerely wanted us to succeed.”
