Dexibit, along with IAAPA, the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) and Blooloop, has announced a webinar to help attractions manage the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Dexibit is hosting a webinar to help the attractions industry deal with the global coronavirus pandemic. The session, entitled “Visitor attractions managing through crisis: COVID-19” has been organised in partnership with IAAPA, AAM and Blooloop.

During the webinar, attractions industry professionals from around the world will discuss the impact of the pandemic on the industry, as well as reviewing strategies for managing visitor attractions during the outbreak.

Managing through crisis

The webinar is free to attend and open to all visitor attractions across the globe. The session will also be recorded and a link sent out to attendees for future reference.

Items on the agenda include industry impacts, crisis response management and mitigation, health and safety, remote work, closures and other restrictions, visitorship and financial impacts, scenario simulation for scaling down, managing the crisis by department plus strategies and tactics.

The webinar will feature a panel of expert speakers:

  • Laura Lott – Chief Executive, American Alliance of Museums
  • Susan Storey – Director of Global Communications, IAAPA
  • Charles Read – Managing Director, Blooloop
  • Angie Judge – Chief Executive, Dexibit
  • Pip Gilbert – VP Product, Dexibit

IAAPA has made the decision to postpone this year’s IAAPA Expo Asia, due to concerns over the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

It also recently updated its range of information and guidance for members regarding the coronavirus pandemic. The association has provided a collection of resources and is carefully monitoring the situation around the world in order to keep members up to date.
