The immersive Tomb Raider experience, located in Camden, is inspired by the video game series and film franchise.

Little Lion Entertainment, in partnership with Paramount Pictures and Crystal Dynamics, has unveiled a statue of Lara Croft in London ahead of the launch of Tomb Raider: The Live Experience on April 1, 2022.

The immersive Tomb Raider experience, located in Camden’s Stables Market, is inspired by the video game series and film franchise. The statue was built in collaboration with video game developer Crystal Dynamics.

“We’re thrilled today to unveil a brand-new look for Lara designed especially for Tomb Raider: The Live Experience,” said Tom Lionetti-Maguire, CEO and founder of Little Lion Entertainment.

“The statue incorporates several of her iconic elements like her braided hair and double pistol holsters and blends her survival instincts and powerful confidence into a single visage.”

Tomb Raider: The Live Experience

The 9-foot-tall statue is a version of Lara Croft based on 25 years of Tomb Raider history, from the original game launched in 1996 to the latest incarnation in Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy, released between 2013 and 2018.

“Standing self-assured at the entrance to the attraction, we hope Lara Croft inspires people to embrace their own spirit of adventure as they take on the live experience,” added Dallas Dickinson, franchise general manager for Tomb Raider at Crystal Dynamics.

Tomb Raider: The Live Experience will take guests on an adventure with Lara Croft as she attempts to recover a powerful artifact. Players will escape a sinking ship, explore the jungles of Costa Rica, and discover an ancient tomb.

In more news, Capcom has launched a virtual Resident Evil museum on the franchise’s official online portal, where fans can view exhibits on the Japanese video game and enjoy never-before-seen artwork.

Little Lion Entertainment also developed The Crystal Maze Live Experience.
