Company renews long-term partnership with Alton Towers and BBC Studios, and announces new live show at the resort

Acamar Films, the creative studio behind the award-winning pre-school animation series Bing, has announced that guests will soon be able to enjoy new Bing-themed bedrooms as well as a new Bing and Flop live show at Alton Towers Resort. The rooms will be coming to the CBeebies Land Hotel in March 2022.

The company has now shared a first-look image of the themed rooms, designed to appeal to fans of the lovable pre-schooler Bing and his carer, Flop.

This announcement follows Acamar Films’ recently renewed long-term partnership with Alton Towers Resort and BBC Studios.

The ultimate sleepover

The two new bedrooms feature unique, colourful designs that will immerse young Bingsters in the land of the much-loved animated series. They have been designed especially for families with pre-schoolers and include a special interactive entertainment wall, as well as several other toddler-friendly features.

In addition to this, CBeebies Land will also be hosting a new Bing and Flop live show. Performances will take place every day in the Big Fun Show Time. Meanwhile, Bing’s Sleepover will continue to entertain the hotel’s overnight guests.

“Announcing these new Bing experiences at Alton Towers Resort is a fantastic start to the year,” says Kirsty Southgate, director of experiential and promotions. “We are thrilled to continue our valued partnership with the BBC and Alton Towers, and incredibly excited at this wonderful milestone in our Bing journey. We can’t wait to see Bingsters’ reactions following the first sleepovers in March.”

Larry Roles, marketing director for Alton Towers Resort, adds: “We are really excited to be adding the Bing bedrooms to our portfolio of experiences at the UK’s only CBeebies Land Hotel. We pride ourselves on providing truly immersive experiences for families to enjoy together and really captivate the imaginations of young fans.

“We’re sure both parents and children will love experiencing this fun, new addition to the hotel and we cannot wait to see them being enjoyed by our guests.”

Last year, Southgate spoke to blooloop about Acamar Film’s journey so far with the popular Bing IP and its plans to bring the magic to more audiences around the world.
