Kingsmen Creatives, a leading experience creator, is celebrating the official launch of Netflix’s Squid Game: The Experience at Agora Mall, Thamrin Nine, in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Irene Umar, vice minister of creative economy for the Republic of Indonesia, opened the venue alongside representatives from Netflix Global, PT Vista Adhya Paragon (SideQuest Worlds), and Kingsmen Xperience, the location-based entertainment-focused subsidiary of Kingsmen Creatives.
Jakarta is the first city in Southeast Asia to welcome the interactive experience based on Netflix’s global hit series.

“The launch of Squid Game: The Experience in Jakarta marks an important moment for us in introducing a new form of entertainment that allows visitors to go beyond experiencing a story on screen and become part of it themselves," says Garry Limanata, chief marketing officer of PT Vista Adhya Paragon (SideQuest Worlds).
"We want to create a destination that can be enjoyed with friends and family, while offering something different for people in Jakarta as well as visitors from other cities and across the region.”
Immersing guests in the world of the hit show
The Jakarta venue follows earlier editions of Squid Game: The Experience that opened in major cities worldwide, including New York, Madrid, Seoul, London, Sydney, and Tokyo. Kingsmen Xperience designed and produced the Jakarta attraction, which SideQuest Worlds, part of PT Vista Adhya Paragon, operates locally.
Located at Agora Mall in Thamrin Nine, Squid Game: The Experience spans more than 1,900 square metres and immerses visitors in the world of the hit Netflix series. The experience begins with a Face Scan, then moves through six themed game rooms, each offering a different challenge.
The journey begins in the Bunk Room, then moves through a lineup of iconic games: Red Light, Green Light, Tug of War, Marbles, Memory Steps, and Round & Round.

Once all six games are complete, the six players with the highest scores will advance to The Last Supper for the competition’s final round. The overall winner will receive access to the VIP Room as part of the final experience. Visitors can also access the VIP Room by purchasing the VIP Experience add-on.
“Every part of Squid Game: The Experience has been designed to bring elements that fans recognise from the series into an interactive format, from the environments and games to the visual and sound details," says Corey Redmond, senior executive vice president of Kingsmen Xperience Inc.
"For Jakarta, we wanted to ensure that the experience retains the distinctive character of Squid Game while bringing it to life in a format that visitors can experience firsthand."

In addition to the games, visitors can explore the Night Market/Young-Hee Playground, an entertainment area featuring Squid Game-inspired food and drinks created with Akira Back Jakarta, desserts at the Squid Game Cafe developed with Oma Elly, retail offerings, and venue-exclusive merchandise.
