The Association of German Leisure Parks and Leisure Companies (VDFU e.V.) represents amusement parks and companies in Germany and its neighbouring countries.
VDFU represents and promotes the interests of the largest and most popular German theme parks, indoor attractions and zoos as well as various facilities in nearby countries. It is the most important association of companies in the German theme park industry. More than 115 leisure facilities (regular members) as well as around 150 supply-, service- and consulting companies that drive business in the amusement park industry (supporting members) are represented.
The association is managed by a business- and service-center in Berlin with Friedhlem Freiherr von Landsberg-Velenas Association President since 2021 and Jürgen Gevers as Managing Director sindce 2018.
As a representative of the German amusement park industry, VDFU is also a member of the German Tourism Association (DTV) , as well as the German Showmen’s Association (DSB) and cooperates internationally with the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA).
The VDFU engages with consumers through the website FREIZEITPARKS.DE, as well as various social media channels, ensuring direct connection and interaction.
