Gateway Ticketing Systems, a leading provider of admission control systems, will be heading to the Association of Scottish Visitor Attractions Conference 2019, where it is a headline sponsor.

Gateway Ticketing Systems UK is pleased to announce that it will be attending the Association of Scottish Visitor Attractions (ASVA) Conference 2019, when it takes place in Perth, Scotland, from 7 – 8 November. The company is also a headline sponsor of the event, where the team will be sharing their expertise with existing and potential clients.

“Gateway has a proud and active presence in Scotland,” says Andy Povey, Managing Director of Gateway’s London office. “The attractions, venues and historical sites here are world-class. We look forward to reconnecting with our existing customers and discovering the needs of prospective ones.”

Best practice

This year’s conference is focused on the theme of ‘Best Practice Makes Perfect – How to deliver great experiences’. Povey will be giving a presentation on the topic, looking at how to make the online sales process easier. He will also talk about the new features of Gateway’s Galaxy ticketing and admission control software, and how these can help operators to improve the guest experience at their attractions.

The company has now made its new Membership Portal accessible in the most recent version of Galaxy, which means that users can easily manage their account details. It also makes it easier for Gateway customers to communicate with and market to their guests.

Gateway is in the process of developing integrations with Microsoft Active Directory and Apple Wallet, as well as GBG Loqate. This will help to ensure guest data integrity. The company also provides flexible next-generation custom Ticketing and F&B kiosks, with improved accessibility, functionality and data security compliance.

Tailored solutions

Galaxy ticketing and admission control software can be tailored to the individual needs of clients. It allows them to sell tickets on-site, through kiosks or online, as well as making groups sales and thrid-party sales possible.

Gateway’s solutions assist with annual passholder, membership and donor management. It allows for targeted upsell opportunities, as well as managing the scheduling of bookings, tours and events. Galaxy can also unify ticketing, food & beverage and retail sales.

The company has also been developing its Reporting Plus and CRM Plus modules, in order to capture all the transactional data from Galaxy. This can then be collated into actionable reports and be used to make informed business decisions.

The team will also be discussing Galaxy Connect with attendees at ASVA. This award-winning cloud-based platform connects attractions to multiple third-party distributors, enabling live ticket sales all over the world with a single integration. Appointments can be made for the event by email.

Earlier this year, Gateway Ticketing Systems also announced that it had been chosen to provide ticketing and admission control systems to The Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York.
