Finding the Emotional Connection 

Bob Rogers BRC Imagination Arts speaks at blooloopLIVE London 2015Bob Rogers is Founder and Chairman of BRC Imagination Arts which turns brands and subjects into emotionally evocative destinations and permanent attractions that audiences love.  BRC has done this for iconic brands such as Coca-Cola, Ford, Heineken and Volkswagen, and for cultural or educational subjects like Texas, Abraham Lincoln, The City of Liverpool and space exploration.  

Rogers and BRC Imagination Arts are known for their collaborative approach, and for creating handcrafted experiences that deliver lasting, meaningful guest impact, mixed with a nasa logoton of fun and technical dazzle.  Rogers is a member of the Board of Directors of the Academy of Motion Pictures (the Oscars).  Honors include: the NASA Public Service Medal, induction into the IAAPA Hall of Fame, Thea Lifetime Achievement Award, 18 additional Thea Awards for projects, plus over 300 other international awards for creative excellence including two Oscar nominations.  As an inventor he holds two patents.  In his spare time, he fights crime as a costumed super hero (please keep this last bit a secret).  www.brcweb.com

Articulating Brands in Zoos

Kieran Stanely dan pearlman speaks at blooloopLIVE London 2015Born in Cork, Ireland, Kieran Stanley moved to Germany upon completion of his architectural degree at Trinity College in Dublin. He discovered his passion for design with a specific user focus whilst working as lead Architect on the unique Masterplan for the Hannover Zoo from 1994 onwards, working on a number of large scale developments until it's completion in 2010. Now a sought after specialist in leisure and recreation architecture, he has most specifically made a name for himself internationally in the realm of Zoo Design. 

In 1999 he co-founded the creative agency dan pearlman, which acts in the fascinating and challenging field of Brand and Experience Architecture. As CEO and Creative Director he has been personally responsible for such prestigious projects as “Yukon Bay” in Hanover Chester zooZoo, “Lost Valley” in Samsung Everland, South Korea or “Islands” in Chester Zoo, UK. He is currently working for Zoos, parks as well as Brand experience environments worldwide, specifically in China, Korea, Denmark, Swizerland and Germany. He is a member of the IAAPA, WAZA, VDFU and the Berlin Chamber of Architecture (Architektenkammer Berlin).

He often refers to his work as "Storybuilding" and is a much sought-after speaker at congresses and universities.

Keiran will be speaking about the challenges in creating and articulating a brand in a zoo environment.

SEAN CLARKE, Head of Aardman Rights & Brand Development

The IP Holder's Perspective

Sean is a senior marketing and licensing executive with over seventeen years of experience in branded character franchise development.  Principal areas of expertise include creating integrated campaigns across feature film, TV & digital platforms, and brand extensions into licensed merchandise and live events.

Most recently Sean served as a co-exec producer on the Shaun the Sheep movie and was responsible for managing the global roll out, exploitation and development of the Shaun the sheep brand. 

Sean will be speaking from the IP owner’s perspective about brand development.
