Global audio and visual technologies solutions company, Christie Digital Systems, has introduced four new GS Series laser phosphor projectors.
The advanced, pro-grade models offer improved colour, 360° rotation, portrait orientation plus camera-based warping, blending and stacking.
Quiet, lightweight and compact, the new projectors are ideal for complex setups in rental staging and medium-sized fixed applications.
In addition, the 850-GS models incorporate Christie BoldColour Technology for premium colour performance.
“Our customers said they still need the choice between lamps and laser phosphor, and Christie offers that choice, ” explained Curtis Lingard, Product Manager at Christie.
“With two new HD and two more WUXGA laser phosphor models, Christie has a wide-ranging 1DLP® line-up including both lamp and laser phosphor options ranging from 3000 to 13, 000 lumens without limiting options to one technology or another.”
According to Christie, the new models will be available in the summer of 2016.
“Designed primarily for a digital workflow, the new models have a 3GSDI, DVI-D and two HDMI inputs but still allow for analogue signal via an HD15 connection making the new GS models a perfect fit for live events and fixed installs, ” commented Lingard.
