Frontgrid, an expert in adventure leisure and virtual reality attractions, has announced it will be showcasing the ParadropVR City Flyer at IAAPA Expo Europe 2019.
Frontgrid is proud to be bringing the ParadropVR City Flyer to IAAPA Expo Europe this month when the event takes place at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. The trade show, which is being held from the 17th – 19th September, will have a huge exhibition floor measuring 16,000 square metres. Along with Simworx on booth #2424, Frontgrid will be inviting delegates to book a VIP test flight of the immersive experience.
The company is celebrating a successful launch of the attraction’s latest installation, at the King Power Mahanakhon in Bangkok, and is hoping to share the innovative experience with attendees at the event.
Engaging visitors
ParadropVR City Flyer aims to help destination-based attractions to engage and entertain visitors. Guests can enjoy an immersive adventure, alongside an exciting VR game that matches their location. ParadropVR combines self-controlled flight with free-roam VR content, and City Flyer allows operators to showcase landmarks of their own choosing.
“Feedback on ParadropVR City Flyer from guests at the King Power Mahanakhon in
Bangkok has been fantastic,” says Frontgrid CEO, Matt Wells. “We can’t wait to give IAAPA Expo Europe attendees an opportunity to try the experience for themselves.
“We’ve had lots of interest from destination visitor attractions – especially sky towers, visitor centres and indoor entertainment centres at tourist sites. We’re expecting a very busy show at IAAPA Expo Europe, so would encourage anyone who wants to try ParadropVR to get in touch now to book a slot.”
VIP access
In addition to the new City Flyer game, expo attendees will also get a sneak peek at four new ParadropVR games. There are a limited number of VIP boarding passes up for grabs during the show, which give priority access to the ride. To secure one of these special boarding passes, delegates can book by visiting the website.
Earlier this year, Frontgrid announced that ParadropVR is expected to hit over one million rides across all its global locations in 2019, after being boosted by the record-breaking launch of the attraction at the VR Park in Dubai.
