Imagineear, leading creator of digital content and apps, have refreshed and upgraded Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay horticultural tour experience.

Gardens by the Bay features three waterfront gardens and over 100 acres – bringing flowers, trees and plants to the city of Singapore. The attraction is the keystone of Singapore’s ‘City in a Garden’ vision.

Imagineear updated the original script of the random-access tour with new stops to match changes in the gardens. Narration brings together interviews, short videos and music from around the world and brings the tour to life.

The new interface design has also been upgraded – adding Imagineear’s MediaPacker™ to the advanced 5” touch screen MPti™ device. The new device has greater functionality and a larger, clear screen.

Imagineear also created additional video and multimedia assets, as well as an interactive map, in their refreshing of the tour.

The walk-through tour covers the planting of the gardens’ two conservatories. Additional audio guidance is provided on the park’s sight-seeing trolley, delivering entertainment and educational information to visitors from all over the world.

Imagineear designs and builds robust audio and multimedia equipment for culture and attraction clients around the world.

The company creates and delivers innovative content experiences and apps, as well as advising on client’s projects. They are leaders in hand-held devices and have developed their own technology to offer a wide range of solutions for attractions.

Gardens by the Bay is a horticultural showpiece – showcasing garden artistry that presents the plant kingdom in a whole new way. It aims to entertain and educate visitors with plants seldom seen in this part of the world, ranging from species in cool, temperate climates to tropical forests and habitats.
