Keith James, CEO and Owner of Jack Rouse Associates (JRA) has been honoured with The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) 2016 Buzz Price Award for a Lifetime of Distinguished Achievements.
Considered to be one of the industry’s top accolades, James will receive the award at the Thea Awards Gala at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California on Saturday, April 2, 2016.
James has been active within the industry for 44 years, joining JRA in January 1992. Since then, he has been responsible for overseeing the company’s design and production work for such clients as The LEGO Group; Warner Bros.; Universal Studios Florida; Six Flags Theme Parks; Volkswagen’s Autostadt; The Coca-Cola Company; Ocean Park Hong Kong and Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. He assumed his role as JRA’s CEO/Owner in 2008.
James described being named for the Thea Award as one of the most overwhelming experiences of his life: "It was an unexpected telephone call telling me that I was being recognised for all of the things that so many people, especially my family, have helped me to do in the 44 years that I have had the privilege of being in this business.”
In 2011, James’ longstanding commitment to the industry was recognised by IAAPA’s 2011 Outstanding Service Award.
