Pisa Leaning Towards New Ferris Wheel Attraction

Pisa Leans Towards Ferris Wheel Attraction

The Italian city of Pisa, famous for its Leaning Tower, is planning to test the potential of a Ferris wheel to boost tourism.

Culture commissioner, Andrea Ferrante, has reportedly told state TV that the planned Pisa attraction will be around 165ft high.

This makes it about the same size as the iconic tower.

The intention is to trial it for three months.

Not everyone’s delighted with the proposal. Some say it is inappropriate and will clash with the city’s mediaeval architecture.
