Walltopia, a leading climbing wall manufacturer, enhances cognitive skills through play and sport with its Fun Walls brand.

Walltopia is celebrating the impact of its innovative Fun Walls brand. As the popularity of indoor climbing soars, the company is pleased to announce that it has developed over 1800 projects to date, in 76 countries spanning six continents. Walltopia believes in the benefits of climbing for adults and young people, and it created the Fun Walls brand in 2012 to build on this.

Indoor climbing is a favourite activity for people across the USA, Europe and Asia. Walltopia believes that the drive to aim higher is behind this popularity. It built on its experience in the industry to create Fun Walls. The brand is designed to provide a safe, healthy and more meaningful way to have fun in the modern world. It aims to engage children and young people to find a fun way to play and learn.

Fun Walls

Fun Walls requires no need for specific sports preparation or equipment and provides a way to turn physical activity into a fun experience. Attractive designs such as a fairy beanstalk, a volcano or a city building help to introduce children and young adults to the idea of climbing without it being intimidating. There are over 50 engaging designs available.

The standard Fun Walls are available in heights of 6, 7 or 8 metres. Guests are encouraged to learn how to scale the Fun Walls and will feel a sense of achievement when they reach the top. The Fun Wall experience also enhances cognitive, physical and emotional skills, which are essential for early development. This attraction allows users to learn through play.

The designs also incorporate fun extras such as hidden treasures and mazes. These add to the learning experience by building problem solving, leadership and self-motivation. The concept immerses young climbers into the game while building their muscular endurance, flexibility, overall balance and coordination skills.

Over the past five years, Walltopia has designed and installed more than 120 Fun Walls locations. These generate over one million annual visits, proving that play, learning and fun are still a draw in today’s fast-paced, modern world. Fun Walls offer an alternative to passive, technology-filled entertainment.

Walltopia recently re-engineered its Ninja Course with a new steel structure. The new Ninja Course now comes with better column padding, as well as different print options and fluorescent paint variations. The structure is compatible with more than 45 different obstacles.
