ACME partners with Ingresso

The two companies can connect real-time ticket inventory with a global list of eCommerce retailers, ticket agents, travel agents, and tour operators

ACME, a leading provider of ticketing, membership and donation management systems through cloud software, has announced a new partnership with Ingresso, which will help attractions to reach a larger audience and sell more tickets.

Following the challenges presented by COVID-19 over the past year, many institutions are looking at new ways to engage with a bigger audience and exploring new revenue streams. To help meet this need, ACME has joined forces with the worldwide distribution platform Ingresso, which connects customers with top entertainment content.

Solution helps to increase revenue

Together, the two companies can seamlessly connect real-time ticket inventory with a global list of eCommerce retailers, ticket agents, travel agents, and tour operators, which in turn will help operators to sell more tickets. For attractions, it is simple to get on board. With a single API, venues can gain access to more than 60 global distributors, increasing their exposure and ticket sale potential.

As attractions open to the public once more, many are using vouchers to redeem tickets and membership sales from third parties. But this solution is open to fraud and revenue loss, as paper tickets can be forged or re-sold, and they are also not contactless, so can spread germs. In addition, the process of redeeming vouchers is labour intensive and can lead to long queues – again not ideal in a post-pandemic world.

ACME customers using its open API solution can connect directly with Ingresso and benefit from custom barcode generation that comes straight from the ticketing system and can only be used once. The barcode is sent directly to the guest, who can use it for quick, touch-free access to the attraction.

Plus, this solution enables operators to control pricing and inventory in real-time, eliminating the need for manual processes. Clients will also enjoy technical support, accounting support, and contracting support.

Successful implementation at Seattle Aquarium

One leading attraction that is already successfully using the ACME + Ingresso solution is the Seattle Aquarium:

“The team has been extremely helpful and have provided very accessible resources to us,” says Amy Zolton, Guest and Membership Service Manager at the Seattle Aquarium. “We are excited about activating this integration and opening up new distribution channels.”

ACME offers a cost-effective, flexible, and customizable platform for museums, zoos, and aquariums, with useful tools for post-COVID operations such as time-based ticketing and contact tracing as well as contactless entry and payment. The open platform can connect with all the leading systems to create a tailored solution for each attraction’s needs.
