Digital Projection, a specialist in laser projectors, has announced two new faces joining its EMEA team. Kevin Bateman and Brahim Belal have transitioned to Digital Projection as training & products manager and pre-sales application & support engineer respectively.
Bateman joins the management team and will report to the company’s vice president of global marketing, Mark Wadsworth. His main responsibilities are to help develop the company’s product roadmap utilising extensive feedback from customers.
Bateman will also deliver training programmes and help improve customers’ knowledge of Digital Projection products through the development of a comprehensive product training programme for its full product line, available online and in-person.
With experience working alongside well-known tech giants including Epson and Hitachi Bateman is already getting familiar with his new role: “Having been working for Digital Projection for a few months, I can see that the company has a bright future ahead,” he says. “I am thrilled to be working for such a successful and established brand, and hope my skillset further supports Digital Projections growth in Europe.”
A dynamic team
Reporting to technical operations manager Trevor Middlemas, Belal will support the sales team in his new position from a technical point of view. He will be engaged in various projects currently in progress, meeting customers and advising them on the best solutions to meet their requirements.
“I am delighted to join Digital Projection, a truly innovative brand and a company with a serious and flawless ‘savoir faire’,” says the new recruit. “Digital Projection is a company with a dynamic team that really listens to its clients and builds long-term relationships based on trust.”
Dirk Siedle, EMEA director of sales, has welcomed both members to the Digital Projection team, acknowledging that their respective experiences within the AV industry will contribute to the company’s continued growth.
“We have a commitment to provide the very best in class pre and post-sales engineering support,” says Siedle. “Kevin has already become a pivotal member of the EMEA team, and we are sure Brahim’s industry knowledge and skills will enable us to provide an even better service in mainland Europe.”
Digital Projection has recently been involved in a variety of high-profile projects, including a projection-mapped performance that celebrates Louis Pasteur, the father of microbiology, in the town of Dole, France.
