Integrated Systems Europe announce Digital Signage Summit Europe 2019

The company behind Integrated Systems Europe, the largest AV and systems integration show in the world, has announced details of this year’s Digital Signage Summit Europe. DSS Europe 2019 takes place in Munich on 3-4th July and will put the customer first.

DSS Europe is co-organised by Integrated Systems Events, who also produce the ISE trade show. This years event will explore how technology can create personalised retail experiences and AI. The conference will highlight how the Digital Signage and Digital out of Home (DooH) industry can create better customer experiences.

Over 30 experts are scheduled to speak at the two-day summit, now in its 14th year. Attendees will enjoy an innovative mix of keynote speakers, conference channels, awards and exhibition showcases. The event will host some of the world’s leading experts in digital signage, as well as thought leaders and leading suppliers of technology and services. The venue, Hilton Munich Airport, is ideal for learning and networking opportunities.

Putting the customer experience first

integrated systems europe digital signage summitThe theme is ‘Customer Centricity in the Age of Personalisation, Experiences and AI’. The event will examine how to create customer-centric experiences. It will also explore present best practices in artificial intelligence-powered analytics. Speakers and attendees will discuss digital trends and drivers in various vertical markets.

The summit is a collaboration between Integrated Systems Events and invidis consulting, a leading digital signage consultancy from Germany.

Learning opportunities

DSS Europe will discuss ‘Customer Centricity in the Age of Personalisation, Experiences and AI’, looking at the unique challenges of digital signage, as well as the preferred tools for designing customer-centric experiences. Exploring the topic of AI, the summit will present best practice approaches and the lessons that have been learned, as well as a panel on addressing the concerns of the public about analytics, particularly with regard to privacy and data protection.

Other agenda items include sessions on the requirements for outdoor signage, and on consolidation and changes in the digital signage value chain.

Keynote Speakers at DSS Europe are:

  • Gary Kayye, Co-Founder & Director, THE rAVe Agency; Kayye will unveil new best practices for Digital Signage and DooH agreed by five industry trade associations
  • Louise Richley, Managing Director, Beyond Digital Solutions; Richley’s keynote is entitled ‘How to Pitch’
  • Stephen Gottlich, Senior Vice President, Gable; Gottlich will speak about ‘The Convergence of Industries in the Visual Communications World’
  • From invidis consulting, Florian Rotberg, Managing Director, and Stefan Schieker, Partner, will give keynotes on the factors driving market growth and on the role of digital in customer journeys and personalisation.

Over 400 delegates are expected to attend the event. This includes integrators, hardware and software manufacturers, end customers, agencies, network operators and marketers. As well as the conference sessions, participants can explore an exhibition of leading Digital Signage companies. Exhibitors include Dynascan, NEC Display Solutions, iiyama, Sharp, Epson, HAGOR, LG, Lindy, Peerless-AV, Sharp, Telelogos, TOUCH PERFECT, AXIOMTEK, CONCEPT International, Intuiface and Novisign.

The summit will also feature networking opportunities and lunches, including an evening event at the close of the conference, and the launch of the annual ‘invidis Digital Signage Yearbook’.
