The award-winning installation assists French residents seeking employment

neodigital, a creator of immersive hybrid experiences, has helped create a new immersive destination in the centre of Northern France for people seeking career advice or a fresh start. The firm has leveraged its creative expertise to create Le Klub Extraordinaire, a unique interactive immersive live and web social experience found in the Centre-Val de Loire region.

Our rapidly evolving society is experiencing a dramatic paradox: a significant number of people remain unemployed while at the same time many job offers remain unfilled. Basile Bohard, neodigital’s creative director and CEO, believes that this situation often stems from poor self-knowledge. In this context, driven by the Centre Val de Loire Region, neodigital has come up with the first immersive and educational roadshow to allow everyone to reveal their talents in an experience that is both entertaining and instructive.

An edutainment project

As part of the Regional Investment Pact (PACTE) in skills, the Centre-Val de Loire region wanted to initiate the creation of new systems and original experiments to meet the challenges of employment and training. As a result, neodigital was asked to create an immersive, educational and itinerant concept allowing everyone to reveal their talent and potential.

In this project, the Region is committed, together with the State, social partners and those responsible for employment and training, to a new way of talking about jobs through self-knowledge.

An immersive experience that allows job seekers to learn about themselves

The roadshow is ideal for those who are unemployed or wanting to re-train, as well as those in school, offering a chance to discover a new way of looking at their professional future, alongside family and friends.  Klub Extraordinaire is an immersive experience that lets visitors find out more about the wealth of differences that make up each individual, through an interactive journey. Visitors are guided by Marine, the site’s mediator, as they live an experience where wonder and emotion are the keys to self-discovery.

This ambitious edutainment project was made possible thanks to the joint work of the teams of the Centre Val de Loire Region and the artistic and pedagogical teams of neodigital as well as the different scientific guarantors who brought their expertise in the fields of psychology, orientation and professions.

The adventure continues online

Visitors can also continue the Klub Extraordinaire experience at home, with a web platform that enables them to deepen their knowledge and explore their talents further. Here, a members area includes new games and tests to further refine their profile and self-knowledge.

“Fun, art and wonder are powerful engines for learning and self-discovery,” says Bohard, who has built on this belief to create the immersive roadshow concept, bringing together a fantastic narrative and a visual universe out of his imagination where light, architecture, sound, interactivity and special effects unite to connect visitors with themselves and reveal their talents.

“The Klub Extraordinaire is an ambitious and unique project in France, it illustrates the know-how, creativity and passion that animate our studio and its talents,” he adds. “We had to meet a real artistic, technological and educational challenge. In order to deal with a subject with a strong societal stake, with poetry, aestheticism and magic!”

The adventure now continues on the road to the Centre Val de Loire Region. For more information, please click here. Since its launch, the experience has been rewarded with “Remarkable Project” status by the French Government and named Best Hidden Gem in France in this year’s tiqets Remarkable Venue Awards.
