Vennersys, the integrated ticketing, retail and visitor management company, is supporting its clients in the visitor attractions sector as they begin to reopen.

Vennersys is pleased to announce that its customers in the visitor attractions industry are beginning to reopen following the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes several popular sites in the UK such as Blenheim Palace and Thornton Hall Country Park.

These attractions are happy to be welcoming visitors once again and have put in place several new safety measures to protect guests. For example, one-way systems, cashless payments, more handwashing facilities and social distancing. Thornton Hall Country Park has also opened a Drive Through Farm Safari, the first of its kind in the country.

The company has added new features to its ticketing and EPOS system to help clients rise to the challenges presented by COVID-19.

“It has always been our aim to develop VenposCloud in line with the needs of our clients; as the operational needs of an attraction change, they require a system that can adapt and be able to provide the necessary functionality,” says Kevin Davis, Development Director at Vennersys.

Vennersys clients can now benefit from capacity-driven, timed entry capabilities, allowing them to control how many members and paying visitors are on-site. Operators can see the number of guests on-site in real-time as well as viewing a breakdown of future dates. VenposCloud makes it easy to allocate capacity so that attractions do not become overbooked and risk turning guests away.

In addition to this, the company has made its catering module into an online customer journey, so that visits can order food and drink from their own devices, therefore limiting contact with staff on site. Guest are able to pre-order food, order directly to their table or take advantage of a click and collect service, all while avoiding queues and allowing operators to control the flow of people inside their cafes and restaurants.

The company is pleased to be able to support visitor attractions to reopen safely and is working closely with clients to make sure its solutions meet their needs as well as the relevant safety measures.
