Spinning Interactive Dark Ride - Popcorn Revenge

Interactive attractions specialist, Alterface, will be presenting its broadest ever range of interactive ride solutions at this month’s Euro Attractions Show in Berlin.

Alterface to showcase Popcorn Revenge® IP and biggest ever range of interactive ride solutions at EAS 2017To discover more about these and the company’s brand new Popcorn Revenge® IP, attendees are invited to Booth #21-811.

“Over the past few years, Alterface has built a rock-solid reputation as a trusted partner for fun and powerful interactive dark rides,” reports Ben Cornet, CEO and Founder at Alterface.

“Our team has proven their expertise on numerous successful interactive dark rides, including seven at Six Flags across the US and 20 at Legoland Discovery Centres worldwide. Customers and partners praise the reliability and long lifespan of the attractions, whilst visitors are thrilled about the immersive and memorable experience.”

It has been a busy year for the company which continues to innovate in order to stay one step ahead of its competitors. Aside from developing what it considers to be the widest range of proven interactive dark ride solutions on the market, Alterface runs two high-level augmented reality R&D projects with Belgian universities. The company has also launched its unique Popcorn Revenge® IP.

Featuring a cast of crazy popcorn characters, Popcorn Revenge® can be combined with several ride concepts such as the Alterface’s spinning or duelling interactive theatre. Or, it can be integrated equally well into a mixed-media ride.

Each theatre or ride includes themed scenery, large integrated screens, custom media, projection mapping, sounds, dynamic lighting and special effects. These are all managed by Alterface technology. The system is compatible with all types of interactivity: shooting, drag and drop, 4D Shooter™ and gesture recognition.

“We invite everyone who is investing in a new ride to come and talk to us at EAS!” says Cornet. “We can advise them on the best solution for their park, following regional taste, available space and required throughput.

“A fine example is the new Basilisk ride we are currently installing at the Polish Legendia park, with a dedicated IP based on authentic Polish folklore. Our mission is to offer visitors their best ride experience!”

Meet Alterface at Booth #21-811 at the Euro Attractions Show in Berlin, 26-28 September 2017.
