Mobaro, a provider of online maintenance and safety solutions, will be exhibiting at the upcoming IAAPA Expo Europe, which takes place at London’s ExCeL from 12 – 15 September with the trade show opening on 13 September. The team will be on hand to demonstrate why the company’s unique digital workflows between maintenance and operation are chosen by so many attractions around the world.
Last year, Mobaro announced its new ride operations app, connecting ride operators with the CMMS in a milestone for the company’s development.
“This last year, we have experienced a truly uplifting reception of both our ride operations application and the competency module,” says Henrik Have, CEO at Mobaro. “At the same time, we have worked tirelessly with clients to refine and develop features to build an even stronger system for them to handle their attraction safety, maintenance, and operations.”
RideOps
The firm’s priority has always been to digitise safety and maintenance routines, enabling its clients to benefit from efficient, high-quality processes. After integrating the CMMS into the daily operations at its client attractions, Mobaro’s next step was to include another key domain, ride operations:
“Our promise to the industry is a digital environment where you can integrate workflows, increase transparency, remove time-consuming processes, and build better connections across teams,” says Have. “Attractions need to work holistically to ensure the highest level of safety and quality. That’s why RideOps came as a natural next step, and now we can present the continuation of that work, which is e.g., a stronger connection between maintenance and operations.”
RideOps allows operations to record and monitor the performance side of ride operations, meaning that they can see an overview of key factors such as queue time, ride cycle, capacity utilisation and more. Now, with the additional competency module, operators can take advantage of dynamic training, certification and access control. Essentially, the solution means that only those trained for that specific ride can log into RideOps.
Another key feature of RideOps is the digital handover functionality, ensuring safe operations in the handover from maintenance to ride operators through a well-planned and documented process.
New features
Some of the new features that attendees at IAAPA Expo Europe can discover include:
- Operator checklists: Ride operators will be prompted to perform a pre-opening check that has been set up and distributed by e.g. a maintenance manager
- Ride notes: During their shift, operators can register observations related to the ride and create automated assignments that will be delegated to a predefined department.
- Shift timer: To keep track of how long an individual operator has been handling a specific ride.
- In-app statistics: To give an operator an idea of how they are doing, a new performance statistics module is available.
- Auditable Ride log: With the addition of the ride log in Mobaro, you will be able to get a centralised overview of all entries in a ride’s operations, including who was operating, when it was opened/closed, the number of dispatches and how many riders per dispatch.
In addition, the Mobaro API now includes support for a number of new ways of integrating with the system. Plus, the new Single Sign On option handles centralised onboarding and offboarding of users, meaning this can be done efficiently and securely through third-party systems.
Meet the team at IAAPA Expo Europe
As well as discovering more about Mobaro’s system and the new functionality, visitors to booth #2218 can also enjoy some unique refreshments:
“We had a blast in Paris 2019 where we offered our signature beer, and our guests loved it,” says Have. “So, we are very pleased to be able to bring back the Mobeero once again to London and talk about the needs of attractions for managing safety, maintenance, and operations.”
The Mobaro solution is used in over 150 visitor attractions around the world, from theme parks and water parks to zoos and FECs. Its clients include popualr European parks like Liseberg, Tivoli Gardens, PortAventura, and Efteling.
Mobaro will also host a talk about managing water quality at visitor destinations later this month. The Evolution Of Water Quality Management discussion will take place on 30 August 2022, from 1:00-2:00 PM EST. Further information and sign-up details can be found on the company’s website.
