Triotech appoints new business development director

US parks market will be supported by the new addition

Triotech, an award-winning creator of media-based attractions, has recruited an industry veteran to fulfil a prominent company director role.

Yannick Gemme, vice-president of sales and marketing for Triotech, has announced the company’s recent appointment of Ryan Engles as business development director – parks.

Triotech is a specialist in m the design and manufacture of immersive and interactive attractions for the entertainment market. The firm is responsible for over 415 installations in over 65 countries. More than 35 million guests have enjoyed Triotech experiences over the last decade including interactive theatres, interactive dark rides, 4D theatres, VR attractions, flying theatres, walkthroughs and dark coasters. 

Engles will be responsible for the continuing development of Triotech’s position within the US amusement and theme parks segment. 

The appointment is effective immediately.

“We are excited to have Ryan joining the team to help strengthen Triotech’s global leadership position in media-based attractions. His experience in business development and marketing, as well as his customer focus, will be an asset”, says Gemme.

International influence

Founded at the turn of the millennium, Triotech is a privately held company with over 200 employees found throughout Canada, Europe, the USA, and Asia.

The firm supplies operators with integrated turnkey solutions for digital attractions which feature content developed in its Montreal-based studio in Canada.

Engles brings a wealth of industry experience to the position, spending his recent career developing and selling cinematic attractions including 4D theatres and flying theatres.

“I am looking forward to tapping into Triotech’s innovative and ROI-focused product lines to grow existing relationships and start new ones”, adds Engles.

The new appointment will be present at IAAPA Expo in Orlando from 15 to 18 November, representing Triotech on Booth #5424.

Triotech recently provided a number of installations for French FEC operator La Tête dans les Nuages, operating across urban centres including Lyon and Paris.
