Costumes and Mascots: Rainbow Productions’ Licensed character shows launched at UK attraction

News

LEGOLAND® Live! My First Festival takes place annually at LEGOLAND Windsor and is the ultimate family festival.

Over the weekend of July 18th and 19th 2009 visitors were treated to live performances in the Events Arena from a host of acts including HIT and Chapman Entertainment’s TV stars Bob the Builder, Barney, Fifi Forget-me-Not, Fireman Sam and Angelina Ballerina.

Working with partners, UK costume character company Rainbow Productions delivered these 15-20 minute live shows to LEGOLAND Windsor’s family audience.

Penny Jenkins, spokeswoman for the attraction comments:

“We’re delighted to have worked with Rainbow Productions for the fourth consecutive year to deliver high quality live entertainment for the whole family to enjoy”.

Over the two day event five different licensed cartoon character shows were performed to families congregated in the grassy area in front of the stage.  Angelina Ballerina starred in a show called “Mouseland’s Greatest Dancer!” on Sunday 19th alongside her best friend Alice and a Host.  Songs in this show included Angelina Ballerina’s Theme Song and the Tippy Toe Tumble.

Barney took to the stage alone for his “Playtime Singalong”, encouraging children to join in with his array of songs such as ‘If you’re happy and you know it” and “I love you”.

“Bob the Builder’s Singalong” featured live performances from the largest number of characters: Bob the Builder, Wendy, Spud and a Host called Joe.  Songs in this high-energy show included “Big Fish, Little fish” and “Mambo No. 5”.

Fifi Forget-Me-Not was joined on stage at LEGOLAND Windsor by her best friend Bumble and a Host and they “Rocked with the Tots”.

The fifth character show called “Extra Extra Read all about it” took place on Saturday 18th only and starred Fireman Sam, Norman Price and a Host.
