ADG Mountain Coaster Premier Attraction at Branson Mountain Adventure Park

News

Aquatic Development Group, Inc. (ADG), a worldwide corporation that develops innovative products and projects for waterparks, hotels, resorts, mountainsides and aquatic centers, have announced that an ADG Mountain Coaster will be the premiere attraction at the new Branson Mountain Adventure Park.

The 80 acre park in the Ozark mountains is scheduled to open in summer 2016.  Although this will be the first downhill mountain coaster in the Ozarks, ADG Mountain Coasters are already in operation in Killington, Berkshire East, Camelback as well as other locations across the Eastern US.

ADG’s Mountain Coaster combines superior design and construction with unique safety features to deliver a thrilling attraction perfectly suited to mountain terrain.

The Branson Mountain Coaster fits perfectly on the steep incline of the hillside along Highway 165.  Developer Mark Ruda explains, “You can use a 15-percent sloped property and not have dramatic impact on (the environment) so it’s kind of a win-win.”

The ADG Mountain Coaster has a pre-fabricated modular track, custom built at ADG’s headquarters in upstate NY, which is engineered to fit the topography of the site and can be installed quickly and accurately.

The ride begins with a steep climb up the mountainside on a sled style cart.  At the top gravity takes over and with a thrilling ride down more than 5, 000 feet of mountain coaster track that twists and turns down a 350ft elevation change.

The driver of the coaster can control how fast they want to go on the way down by using a brake, up to a maximum speed of 25 to 30 mph.

The ADG Mountain Coaster features unique ground-breaking safety features including a patented collision avoidance system, automatic speed restrictors, brake lights, alarms and special seat belts to ensure a safe and exhilarating rider-controlled experience.
