Jim Bassi named Strategic Sales Director for Western US at Vortex

Jim Bassi has been appointed Strategic Sales Director for Western US at leading aquatic attractions company, Vortex.

Vortex J BassiJim Bassi was formerly Director of Sales for Kompan. There, he leveraged strategic insight to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction. He brings extensive experience in strategic sales to both the public and private markets, particularly in the field of commercial recreational equipment.

In his newly created position based out of the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, Bassi will lead strategic sales initiatives in Western US States. He will be responsible for driving market penetration and securing Vortex International’s leadership position in the market.

Vortex recently partnered with China’s Wanda Group for a second time to supply equipment for the waterpark component of Chongqing Wanda Cultural Tourism City.

Vortex has been awarded the Most Valuable Product 2018 for their PrecisionRides™ series. The company launched the new slide series at the IAAPA Attractions Expo 2017 (IAE).  The new slide series is engineered for superior performance and manufactured using state-of-the-art technology, to give the guest the ultimate waterslide experience with unmatched smooth and comfortable rides.
