Cloward H2O, a leading provider of aquatic design and engineering services, has announced it is the aquatic designer for the Hard Rock Hollywood resort expansion.
Cloward H2O is pleased to announce its latest project as the aquatic designer for the new Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. This is the flagship casino resort of Hard Rock International and is a world-renowned entertainment, gaming and hospitality destination. The attraction features a luxury hotel, casino, spa and award-winning dining and nightlife. It also includes the Hard Rock Event Center which hosts celebrity performances, comedy acts and sporting events. A $1.5 billion expansion will bring 638 luxury guestrooms to the first-ever, guitar-shaped Guitar Hotel and 168 upscale guest accommodations.
The grand opening is scheduled for October 24th, 2019. Construction is underway on pools for the new pool deck. Cloward H2O is also working on the recreation lake, spa pools, and penthouse pools.
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood features a 4.5-acre lagoon-style heated pool retreat. The new pool deck will feature eight new pools as well as a range of water features. Guests can relax by the pool, listening to DJs spinning beats on the weekends, taking a dip and enjoying signature cocktails. The large recreation lake has a volume of around four million gallons. Once completed, it will be available for a fun range of water sports. Visitors will be able to enjoy canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding and more.
Relaxing in the spa
The health spa at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood includes five spa pools. Guests can relax and feel pampered, with a central tub, hot and cold plunge pools and separate tubs for men and women. In addition to the main health spa, there are also two 29th floor suites which boast their own private plunge pool and hot tub.
Cloward H2O is happy to be part of this iconic new project for the Fort Lauderdale area and is taking joy in seeing several years of design efforts become a physical reality.
The company recently announced the successful redesign and reopening of the historic Manhattan Beach Aquarium, bringing this unique and protected visitor attraction up to date for the 21st Century.
Cloward H2O is also working on the upgrade of Riversport Rapids in Oklahoma City, three years after its original opening. The watersports facility hosts an average of 2,000 individual raft rides per day.
