HOLOGATE, a global leader in turnkey compact multiplayer VR systems, has unveiled state-of-the-art venue plans for its latest venture, HOLOGATE WORLD, an immersive extended reality (XR) entertainment facility in Germany
HOLOGATE WORLD is slated to open in September 2021 and will cover over 1,200 square metres. Alongside the company’s cutting-edge VR systems, XR escape rooms and a competitive esports area, there will also be a bar, a lounge with food services and both indoor and outdoor gathering areas. Furthermore, several proprietary entertainment experiences will premiere at the venue’s opening.

A game-changing project
“We are very happy to be partnering with P&P Group on this game-changing project,” says Leif Petersen, HOLOGATE CEO and Founder.
“With the introduction and inclusion of fresh, never-before-seen, immersive entertainment options, alongside our iconic ARENA and BLITZ systems, and all within a large, socially-focused, fun-for-everyone space, HOLOGATE WORLD presents the next level of immersive location-based entertainment for HOLOGATE and the industry as a whole.”
HOLOGATE WORLD will be part of the 18,000-square-metre FLAIR urban marketplace in Fürth, Germany, a vibrant new lifestyle destination. This flagship venue by HOLOGATE will also be a blueprint for further franchise locations looking to attract more traffic.
“Our goal with FLAIR is to create a dynamic social experience and to generate maximum attendance through the numerous offers,” says Michael Peter, P&P Group CEO and Owner.

“In addition to an excellent mix of tenants and innovative gastronomy concepts, we were looking for the ultimate entertainment highlight for this vibrant lifestyle location in the heart of the city. With HOLOGATE WORLD, we have found it and can thus offer a new, incomparable attraction that is globally one of a kind.”
This new XR entertainment destination follows HOLOGATE’s industry adopted Hygiene and Safety Standards, offering opportunities for safe fun with friends and family.
Last year, HOLOGATE also announced that it has partnered with ARVI VR to bring virtual Escape Rooms to its platform.
