Disney MagicMobile is a seamless and contactless way to access MagicBand features from a smart device. Walt Disney World already features the MagicBand, a colourful wristband that offers a smooth theme park experience in Florida.
Disney MagicMobile has now launched on Apple devices, with visitors able to use the contactless solution for theme park entry at Walt Disney World.
The service is available on iPhone and Apple Watch, and is coming soon to other smart devices. MagicMobile is launching in phases, beginning in 2021.

Guests can create a Disney MagicMobile pass via the My Disney Experience app, which can be added to the wallet app on iPhone.
Visitors can customise their pass with animated Disney-themed designs, before using their smart device near an access point when entering the parks at Disney World.
Disney has also added a new feature in the My Disney Experience app that allows guests to automatically link Disney PhotoPass attraction photos and videos to their profile.
Additionally, the My Disney Experience app still allows hotel guests to unlock their room door using the digital room key feature.

Walt Disney World is also testing facial recognition technology at Magic Kingdom‘s park entrance through March 23 and April 23.
“At Walt Disney World Resort, we’re always looking for innovative and convenient ways to improve our Guests’ experience – especially as we navigate the impact of COVID-19,” said Disney.
Disney is always working to improve the visitor experience, and is developing facial recognition technology and Disney MagicMobile in response to COVID-19.
Walt Disney World Resort may even introduce a booking system for character meet and greets, following a similar move from Disneyland Paris.
