Green waterparks speakers

Michel Linet-Frion is a French architect who creates leisure experiences for eco-friendly and themed family leisure developments and resorts. Now he runs his own company, Studio Concepts & Innovations.
Michel has worked in the leisure and entertainment industry for more than 30 years. He has worked with Walt Disney Imagineering, Compagnie des Alpes, Vacances-Center Parcs and more.
He has worked on a variety of projects, from theme parks to water parks, resorts and more. Michel partners with specialists around the world on his projects and has won five TEA awards.

Marie Balmain is Sustainability Unit Director at Egis.
Marie gained a BA in Business Economics at the University of California. From 2005 to 2017 she was Group sustainability and Foundation Director for Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs, a leading tourism residence in Europe.
In her role she facilitated the roll-out of the Group CSR strategy and developed new sustainable leisure developments. Marie joined Egis Conseil in 2020 where she leads the Sustainability Unit on carbon neutral strategies, energy and environmental management and more.

Viorel Beltechi is the CEO of Therme Group Asia. He also serves as VP of Energy and Engineering on the Therme Group Worldwide Executive Advisory Board.
Viorel graduated from The University of Civil Engineering Bucharest. He then worked in various government departments, particularly within the energy sector.
He was General Director of the National Intermediate Body for Energy and the National Representative for the EU-China Chamber of Commerce.

Peter Gamble is a Senior Partner and Chris Hall is a Partner at Holder Mathias Architects.
Holder Mathias Architects has over 25 years of experience creating leisure destinations. The company has worked for Pierre & Vacances, Esporta and individual operators and developers.

The company created the ‘DNA’ of the Forest Holidays brand by designing a portfolio of forest lodges that are being rolled out across the UK. There are currently 500 lodges completed.
Furthermore, the company was the lead designer and architect for the centre buildings at Center Parcs Woburn Forest and Longford Forest. Holder Mathias Architects won the International MIPM Best Hotel & Resort Award for Center Parcs Woburn Forest.
