Embed, a leading worldwide supplier of point-of-sale and revenue management systems, is preparing to launch its latest innovation at a top industry event in Nevada, US, later this month.
An end-to-end events marketing platform for FECs, EVENTS helps operators and guests to enjoy in-sync venue events. The new function is part of Embed’s TOOLKIT suite, designed to connect all business touchpoints within one integrated solution.
Embed partnered with ECAL, a leading events and calendar marketing platform, to create the EVENTS service. The collaboration aims to help venues communicate events better by setting a new global standard for effective events content management, publishing and marketing, which includes the integration of smart, dynamic communications to calendars.
Innovative marketing for FECs
Described as an “industry-first innovation”, EVENTS will be unveiled at the International Bowl Expo in Las Vegas which starts today and runs until 30th June 2022.
Embed Solutions Group CEO Renee Welsh, Embed Solutions Group CEO, explains how FECs can greatly benefit from the platform: “70% of adults rely on mobile and desktop calendars to manage their daily schedule. Imagine your events and promotions mapped on your customer’s day-to-day, keeping your business top-of-head!
“We are excited to have our customers experience the EVENTS difference and see a dramatic increase in their events awareness, a doubled ticket purchase or booking rate, and more engagement in their marketing efforts with this new channel.”
FECs who subscribe to the service will also receive a free EVENTS Creative Toolkit, specifically developed to help drive uptake and adoption of EVENTS with end-users. This contains EVENTS messaging that covers the entire guest journey, with zoning strategy, and customisable creatives for every customer touchpoint. FECs will be able to function more strategically and tactically with promotions, through a series of ‘how-tos’ and employee cheat sheets.
Top features
With the new update, EVENTS can be automatically synced to customers’ digital calendars. Any activity published on an FEC’s website (such as tournaments, parties or live sports), can be added to guests’ social calendars. Pre-payment means low risk to the FEC operator, whilst providing a seamless guest journey, from website to booking, payment, and confirmation.
Operators will benefit from improved access to in-depth customer data and insights, enabling FECs to plan events that meet consumer demand and trends. Promotions can be combined with legally obtained contact details to drive return visits and customer loyalty, helping to future-proof the business.
Patrick Barrett, ECAL Founder & CEO adds: “We at ECAL are thrilled to collaborate with Embed to share our beautiful event displays and smart ‘Sync to Calendar’ technology with its customers. This rich, dynamic events connection will deliver the right message, at the right time, in the right place, to drive increased sales and engagement, and backed by deep consumer data and insights.”
